Much of Gary's time is spent keeping all of the rest of us connected to the world wide web and keeping our technology functioning. Recently, he was given approval to buy a new server system for the ministry. He's very happy with this and will keep him busy for a while getting it all up and running!

My trip to Malaysia. This suspension bridge is in a village we visited. Really it's quite safe. It's over a beautiful river right at a point where there are 2 rivers converging into one.

The village we stayed in for a few days had a beautiful view of Mount Kinabalu- the highest mountain in Southeast Asia. Every morning it's the first thing we saw as we walked out the front door. Within a few hours, the clouds covered it for the rest of the day.

The river was so cool and refreshing- perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Or even take a bit of a bath. The river is perfectly safe. No crocodiles or anything.

We're also doing some renovating of the bathrooms which Darcie uses. These bathrooms have up to 18 girls using them at a time. We recently discovered water damage throughout the whole shower area. So it got pulled out and is being put back together. Soon we'll have brand new showers, and hopefully even nicely new painted walls!

This is a kookaburra. An iconic Australia bird, largest of the kingfisher family (for any of you who wanted to know). They're known for their cackling laugh that sounds quite like a monkey! They usually feed on insects, but here at this cafe they wait around for any customer to let their guard down for just 10 seconds. When they see the opportunity they go for the scone with jam before you even have a chance!

We've been doing a lot of work and renovations around the Base. This is the house we had moved onto the centre almost a year ago. We've now mostly finished the inside and have 2 separate houses (one upstairs and one downstairs). Still have yet to finish some guttering, painting, stairs, a deck and patio, and the yard. But it's livable for now and a huge blessing!

This is outside of our bedroom. We'd like to add on a bathroom to the room, here on the corner. We think we could get it done with just about $4000.
